Late this April, F11 hosted an informative session presented by Laura Duffy and Anna Vine, cyber analysts working at the home office who originally did English degrees. They spoke to us about the ways in to this career, why women in the industry is so important and how we can demonstrate the skills required for this type of role. The two demonstrated how an array of skills can lead to many opportunities, job positions, and degrees both from their English degrees and their new found skills in technology. They did a great job at keeping those attending interested through activities regarding cryptography and analysing data skills, which were enjoyable and provided a good insight into the world of cyber analysts and cyber career paths.
