Category: Diversity, Media Team, News, Students write

As you all know, ISOC Charity Week took place on the 10th to the 14th of October. And many exciting events took place, all in the hope of donating lots of money to orphans around the world!

On the 10th, ISOC hosted a Food Sale, with a huge variety of foods such as pizza, pasta, samosas, cakes, and meal deals!

On the 14th, ISOC hosted a Bake Sale, with many cakes, brownies, and delicious delights! It was also a Charity Day, so students could wear whatever they wanted.

So far, ISOC had raised £2373.91. However, there was still 1 more event left…

THE ISOC CHARITY DINNER!

On Saturday 6th November, at the British Muslim Heritage Centre, ISOC hosted the Charity Dinner, where there was an auction, a dessert stand, a henna stall, and Islamic talks. And best of all, a chocolate fountain! The food was delicious and the centre was decorated beautifully! The hall was packed with people, and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely.

Charity Week had been a total success. Fun, fresh and fabulous! ISOC managed to raise a huge amount for Islamic Relief, to help orphans all over the world. And the ISOC Charity Week grand total is…..

£9526.56!!!

Thank you so much ISOC for the amazing events! Hopefully this money will benefit orphans all over the world, and help those in need.
