Translation Bee National Success!

We are delighted to share with you another amazing success of our MFL students. Instead of a day off, our Year 9 Translators travelled to Cambridge University on Friday 1^st July to take part in the National Translation Bee Competition.

Mariia D (French), Bibby B (Spanish), Hajar M (Spanish) and Haneen E (German) all competed against finalists from other regions to translate as many sentences as they could in one minute. They were the final 57 out of the 12,288 who started the competition and they were amazing!  Hajar made it to the grand final and came fourth for Spanish.

This is an amazing achievement and congratulations to them all!
