Former Students/Alumnae

Altrincham Grammar School for Girls is aiming to create a network of former students. We believe that your connection to your school should not end when you leave, and we would like all our past pupils to keep in touch. We are therefore delighted to let you know that we are now working with the charity Future First to help to strengthen the links that we have with our former students and help to build a thriving, engaged alumnae community.

We hope that by strengthening our alumnae links, we will be able to offer support to our current students in many ways, including as career role models, work experience providers, mentors, governors and even fundraisers or donors. Whether former students have gone on to be graphic designers, sports coaches or surgeons, we want current students to understand the different options that are out there for them. Very simply: if former students can do it, so can they.

We are looking for former students to sign up to our Alumnae database.

Fatima’s Foundation Diploma in Art & Design…

Former student Fatima Atif has recently completed a Foundation Diploma at Manchester School of Art. She is currently studying for a BA (Hons) Illustration with Animation.

70th Birthday Reunion:

Our Alumnae held an AGGS reunion at Cottons Hotel  on Saturday 8^th October and had a lovely time celebrating our pre or post 70^th birthdays!

The group of 19 ladies this time were all in the 5^th form in 1969 and some stayed on until 1971.
