Post Mortem Event

On Saturday we hosted the VIVIT experience, who ran a post mortem event for 75 students in years 11 to 13. Using a semi-synthetic cadaver and animal organs, our students had plenty of hands-on experience of dissecting brains, lungs and the heart. They also saw a complete digestive system and discovered the reason for the victim’s death, learning loads about human anatomy, forensics and medicine along the way!
