Charlotte Awarded Arkwright Engineering Scholarship

Charlotte L, in Year 12, has been awarded the Arkwright Engineering Scholarship. This is a much sought after and prestigious scholarship and is a testament to Charlotte’s efforts, resolve and talent as she had to submit a detailed report on her Further Education plans, and sitting a two hour examination. Charlotte has been awarded a £300 for supporting her studies Year 12 and 13, and the school receives an additional £400 to promote engineering within the school; Mr Nisar is already in the process of purchasing a soldiering iron for Physics and Engineering club! Additionally, Charlotte has been provided a mentor, in her case a representative from HARIBO, to help guide and advise her through the next few years. Charlotte is hoping to pursue Engineering at university and this is a great boost to her academic qualifications, she should be extremely proud, as we all are.
