Rachel’s Translation Success

Rachel H (Y13) has recently taken part in the Queens College Oxford Translation Exchange and we are delighted that her excellent review of ‘Springtime in a Broken Mirror’ by Mario Benedetti has been published on the Queens College Website.  The Translation Exchange gives young UK language-learners the opportunity to read and review outstanding works in translation. Students in Years 12 and 13 across the UK and Ireland are invited to join in this project.  Applicants can choose a book from a list including novels translated from Arabic, French, German, Italian and Spanish.  We are very pleased that Rachel’s well written and thoughtful review has been recognised and shared.
