Food & Nutrition this Term

Category: Food, News

Just a quick message from me to say thank you to all my students for all your hard work this term. Well done to all the year 9 students who have completed their work in food for key stage 3. I hope you all carry on cooking at home to keep up the skills you have learnt. As you can see from these fantastic photographs, we have started celebrating this festive season with some beautiful bakes from year 10 and 11 students. Year 10 have made an excellent start to their GCSE, their enthusiasm for the subject never ceases to amaze me. Thank you to all the parents and carers for their continued support to ensure all the students have everything they need. If any of you are still looking for ideas for presents or stocking fillers, a set of digital scales or an electric hand whisk would be lovely for any student who enjoys cooking. For those who enjoy baking some piping bags and cocktail sticks for feathering are simple gifts that can provide endless hours of entertainment. I hope you all have a lovely holiday and a well-deserved rest. Happy Christmas.
