Safiyah’s Public Speaking Success

Last week, Safiyah K in Year 12 competed in the Historical Association’s public speaking competition, The Great Debate, where she gave a 5 minute speech on the most significant changes to her community in the last 70 years. Safiyah did a fantastic job – her research was sound and the delivery of her speech was spot on!

After some tough competition from the other contenders, Safiyah went on the win the Manchester heat and will be competing in the grand final at Windsor Castle in March.
