We are delighted to share the fantastic translation success of our students in the Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators with Queens College, Oxford.

Year 12 French and Spanish students took part in the competition in which they were asked to translate some rather tricky texts from French and Spanish into English. The competition received over 3,200 entries from 260 schools across the country. A team of translators from right across the UK, along with Oxford languages undergraduates, have worked together to judge the competition.

We sent in a number of entries for each language and are delighted that Aditi M has won the Spanish Level 4 category for the North Region. This is a tremendous achievement! Her winning entry has been put forward to the national competition and they plan to announce the results of the national competition in June.

Well done Aditi!
