The geography department are delighted to announce that Erin M in Year 12 has been selected as a “highly commended” entry in the Royal Geographical Society’s “Young Geographer of the Year” competition.
Erin spent part of her summer holiday producing a detailed map all about the Lake District.
She is invited to attend an awards ceremony at the RGS’s headquarters in central London. Congratulations, Erin!
The geography department will be encouraging more students to enter prestigious national competitions over the course of this year.
