Trafford Schools Cross Country

Last week was the Trafford School Cross Country Championships at John Leigh Park.

There were lots of successful performances across the board with many being selected to represent Trafford in the Northwest Regional finals round.

Overall the Y7 team finished in 2nd place and Y8/9 team finished in 1st place.

The Y10/11 team was very thin on the ground due to the Y11 Exams, however both runners had an excellent race and qualified comfortably to the next round.

We also had 2 runners in the senior race (Y13) who were keen to run their last cross country race for school, they also both qualified comfortably to the next round.
