AGGS Pastoral Newsletter November 2026

Category: News

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we start a new half-term having had a busy and successful first half term, I would like to share some of the ways our students have been getting involved in the wider life of the school through our pastoral and personal development programme.

At AGGS, we want every student to grow into a confident, compassionate and responsible young person. Alongside their academic learning, students have taken part in activities that promote wellbeing, leadership, citizenship, inclusion and positive relationships. These help them build the skills and character that will serve them well throughout their lives.

Central to this work are our school values of being Curious, Kind and Courageous. Whether students have been making new friends through transition activities, putting themselves forward for leadership roles or exploring important social issues, it has been wonderful to see these values in action.

This update looks back at some highlights from last half term, looks ahead to what is planned this half-term, and includes some practical ideas for supporting your child at home.

Thank you for your continued support. The partnership between school and home plays a vital role in making sure every student feels safe, valued and able to thrive.

Warm regards,

Ms R Bond
