Year 7 Spelling Bee

On Thursday 20th February, the school final for the language spelling bee took place in the main hall. All participants bravely stood in front of a crowd of audience, doing their best to spell out as many words in a modern foreign language in a minute. From my own experience, I was nervous before and throughout the competition, however I have learnt how to control my nerves plus a lot of new vocabulary. It was a close competition, but the winners for each language were Bibby in 7-1 for French, Hajar in 7-5 for Spanish and Rameen 7-7 for German.
