Citizenship during Lockdown – Year 7

During lockdown Year 7 have been continuing with their citizenship and PSHE learning, albeit with a slightly adapted curriculum. They studied a range of topics, including: VE Day & Gender Equality, World Refugee Day and Female Diversity, First Aid, Internet Safety, the role of the Local Council and the relationship between climate change and access to education. A small selection of some of their lesson outcomes are shared below. The images below represent work on female diversity in the refugee community, equality and female role models and how the UK is diverse and the benefits and challenges that brings.
