Food and Nutrition this Spring Half Term

Category: Food, News

Well done again to all my students for all their work since Easter. We have made lots of progress. Congratulations to all my Year 11 students who have worked so hard to complete their GCSE. Good luck. Year 10 have completed their 2 hour mock practical exam. They were all cool, calm and collected in their approach and produced some fantastic dishes that tasted delicious, well done to all of them. All key stage 3 students continue their quest to ensure that when they do become independent and responsible for looking after themselves, they will have the cooking skills required to make some lovely meals and the knowledge needed to allow them to make informed choices about what they eat. The highlight of the half term has to be the performance of Tia’s rap about genetically modified foods. She obviously has a real talent. Have a good half term holiday, let’s hope the sun starts to shine. Thanks again.

Love Mrs. Clutton
