AMSP Year 10 Maths Feast

On Thursday 10th March 8 students from year 10 travelled to the University of Manchester to represent the school in the AMSP (Advanced Mathematics Support Programme) Year 10 Maths Feast. This annual event is an opportunity for teams of 4 to go head-to-head with students from schools all over the northwest and requires good teamwork and communication skills as well as mathematical knowhow! Our 2 teams (Olivia W, Chris K, Archisha B, Eloise F; and, Sumaya J, Verity M-J, Sanjhbati C, Xuanrei R) performed brilliantly, earning themselves certificates for top scores in multiple rounds. Team 1 (Olivia, Chris, Archisha and Eloise) was also one of two teams awarded a certificate for their performance through the day in all 4 rounds! We look forward to taking more students next year.
