Harvest Collection by the Charity Committee

Category: Charity, News, Students write

This half-term, the Charity Committee were supporting Mustard Tree, which is a charity in Manchester which helps to combat homelessness and hunger. This charity is now more important than ever due to the cost-of-living crisis and upcoming winter. They help people who are struggling in Manchester with improving their health, wellbeing and work opportunities.

This year, we collected hundreds (if not around a thousand) of food and other useful items (such as body wash and sanitary products) which were collected by Mustard Tree for their food bank. The Charity Committee would like to thank everyone in school and anyone else who supported the charity for the fantastic support received. We are all very grateful!
