Congratulations to Manni G (9-6) the overall winner of the AGGS Summer Reading Challenge. Not only did Manni read her way around the world by reading and reviewing 26 books, her reading passport was also beautifully illustrated. Yutong N (10-6), Shajeen U (7-5 – pictured with the book she bought with her book token), Evie H (8-1) and Anya M (9-7) were also commended.

Author Visit

Year 7 were lucky to have a visit from Waterstones Author of the Month Aisling Fowler in October.  Aisling talked about her best-selling new book Fireborn and gave a masterclass in Creative Writing.  She also signed hundreds of books including Georgia O’s (7-2) below.

Well done to Malak A (9-6) who was the first Year 9 pupil to complete their library loyalty card, having made 10 visits to the library to take books out, since the start of term.
