On Wednesday 14 June, a group of students from Y7-Y10 took part in the North West final of the English Schools Cup in Ellesmere Port. Despite it being a very hot day and track events being scheduled for the afternoon, the students did extremely well!

The Y7 and Y8 team finished in 5^th position out of 10 teams and the Y9 & Y10 team finished in 1^st place out of 11 teams.

A further congratulations to Lily O, Izzy H and Olivia B who have qualified to represent Greater Manchester at the English School Athletics Championships in Birmingham on 1 July – where they will be competing against some of the best athletes in the country!
