Summer Reading Challenge 2021

Our annual Summer Reading Challenge is going from strength to strength, with this Summer’s being the most successful yet. In fact, so many students completed the challenge of reading 21 books in 21 categories that we decided to organise a celebration of their achievements. It was lovely to be able to celebrate a commitment to reading and a love of books.

Of course, there had to be winners, so congratulations to Maria D (9-2), Evie A (10-5), Rachel H (13-1) and Mrs Gill, who were chosen as the winners and given Book Tokens for their efforts. The rest of us celebrated with delicious cupcakes from Georgina B Vintage Teas.

Mrs Hodgson would like to thank the Duke of Edinburgh volunteers Sharnali D (10-4), Riya M, Julia P, Miko E and Claire Y (all from 10-6) for organising both the challenge and the celebration party.
