African Dance Workshop

During our International Fortnight, we welcomed 2 dancers, Ithalia and Dori, from Movema Dance Company. They taught a brilliant African Dance workshop to all of Year 8. We all learnt some Afro-fusion and traditional movement from Angola and Ghana. We also participated in a creative task and choreographed movement inspired by the Sankofa Bird and Adrinka Symbols. Despite being a very hot day, all of Year 8 participated with lots of energy and we all really enjoyed our day learning some African Dance!
